  Glioblastoma multiforme is the most common brain cancer,and has been got much attention as its resistance to radiotherapy and chemotherapy,easy to relapse,high mortality rate and low survival rate.There is no effective medicine to cure glioma.Glioma stem cell(GSCs)is thought to be responsible for these features of glioblastoma multiforme and provides new method to investigate and cure glioma.Decades of study has found the essential role of the microvasculature on the malignant tumor growth and proliferation by secreting some growth-promoting factor.But many of these factors are unknown.Some authors have found that the endothelial cells(ECs)can secrete PGE2 and hypoxia can induce this process.And the PGE2 can promote many tumor cells growth such as colon cancer cell and protect embryonic stem cells.Microfluidic chip can mimic the biologic environment more better than other approaches.Therefore,through co-culture ECs with GSCs in microfluidic chip,we may comprehend more about the internal process of glioma interaction with endothelial cells and recognize the giant effect of PGE2 secreted by ECs on GSCs with the help of MS and other technical means.
