Enhanced external counterpulsation is a non-invasive cardiac assist procedure that has been shown to significantly reduce the symptoms of recurring cheat pain,shortness of breath and fatigue experienced by patients with moderate to severe angina pectoris as the result of coronary artery disease.EECP(R) treatment,which has been in wide use for more than a decade,has proven to be a highly effective and safe alternative for patients who are not appropriate candidates for the traditional revascularization procedures of coronary angioplasty or bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
