Developing the Cam and Dobby shedding mechanisms have been already considered by weaving specialists.In present work, first different shedding mechanisms were studied and then Pneumatic system was proposed.Based on current assessment, a pneumatic shedding mechanism was designed and manufactured in industrial scale, was installed and run on a rapier loom.
