本文结合笔者的教学实践,介绍了木材的优良特性,木结构建筑在生态和节能方面的意义,重点突出了木建筑教学实践中结构设计与建筑空间设计的结合,以及清晰合理的构造与建筑传情达意之间的密切关系。笔者在教学中强调,材料的特点和特定的技术应该被置于生态、人文与艺术的背景中加以理解和表现。建筑学的学生应该有能力将建筑的物质性与具有活力的精神力量相结合,材料的物理化学性质、结构力学、加工手段、施工工艺,以及建筑热工、建筑设备等因素应该被置于建筑设计统一而全面的框架之中。整个教学过程由知识点概述、实例讲解、草图和模型设计、大比例断面模型和详图节点设计组成。本文在介绍教学要点的基础上,精选部分学生作业予以分析,突出师生共同推进设计走向深入的过程,展现上述教学方向和教学思想的阶段性成果。
