cAMP signaling pathway plays important role in intracellular physiological process, such as vegetative growth, asexual development, second metabolism, pathogenesis.etc.The core components of the cAMP pathway includes the Gα subunit, GPCR, adenylyl cyclases, PKA and downstream effectors.Phosphodiesterase (PDEs), which hydrolysis cAMP, maintain the steady state of the intracellular cAMP.Phosphodiesterase and its homologues share various functions in fungi kingdom.
