Fungal flora of four mountains, Mt.Oh-seo, Mt.Seong-ju, Mt.Gaya, and Mt.Mu-seong, in Chungcheongnam-do, Korea was investigated from April 2012 to October 2012.A total of 541 specimens was collected and identified based on their morphological characters and fungal DNA barcode sequence, ITS region.The identified fungi comprised of 2 phyla 7 classes 19 orders 51 families 123 genera and 218 species.During the dry season (from April to June), wood-rotting fungi, such as Daedaleopsis styracina,Hydnochaete tabacinoides, Junghuhnia nitida, Schizopora paradoxa, Stereum peculiare, Stereum subtomentosum, and Trametes versicolor, were mainly found.
