The liquefaction of the submarine slope in the subaqueous delta of the Yellow River is related to the structure and geomechanical properties of the sediments and the wave parameters.In previous studies the sediments were assumed to be a uniform and homogeneous mass, without consideration of the real sedimentary structures and geotechnical properties of the sediments discharged from the Yellow River, and correspondingly their computational models were also flawed.
