Essential oils (EOs) are lipid mix tures known to have pharmacological propertiesas anxiolytic, analgesic and anticonvulsant.So that, we can cite the EO obtained from vegetable Thymus capitatus L.whose main constituent (~80% of total) is the monoterpene carvacrol and this monoterpene has been considered responsible for its biological effects.Another monoterpene (-)-carvone which isthe main active component of various essential oils, such as spearmint (Mentha spicata L.), ginger grass (Lippia alba) and dill (Anethum graveolens L.) has also been studied.
