While a common approach to create metalloaggregates is the one-pot assembly of multitopic organic ligands assisted by transition metal ions,we are interested in a synthetic approach,in which thiolato metal complexes with simple aminothiol-type ligands,such as 2-aminoethanethiol (Haet),L-cysteine (L-H2cys),and D-penicillamine (D-H2pen),are aggregated by transition metal ions through sulfur bridges.
