Aging is a biological, social (social, economic,and cultural), psychological (mental and spiritual), and physical process and is therefore a multidimensional (time, social, and environment) concept.Successful aging is not only about the maintenance of health but also about maximizing ones social-psychological resources, maintaining a positive attitude toward aging, and having a good social support system, moderate exercise, a balanced diet, and, most of all, effective adaptation and management of life stressors.
