Determine the residues in edible tissue of deoxynivalenol infested pig by HPLC-MS

　　To determine whether deoxynivalenol (DON) infested pig accumulates the toxic in edible tissues after 12h recovery phase,twenty four fatten pigs were randomly assigned to 4 treatments (6 replicate pens per treatment): A (a control diet without detectable DON); B (a diet with 2.09mg of DON/kg for 4 weeks); C (a diet with 2.09mg of DON/kg for one meal); and D (a diet with 10.31mg of DON/kg for one meal).All pigs were fed restrictively with 1.5 kg per meal for a period of 30d before the euthanasia.The liver,kidney,spleen,heart,longissimus muscle and dorsal fat were collected for determination of DON residue by HPLC-MS.The sample analysis shows that only trace residues of DON were detected in spleen,heart and muscle samples.And the residue in liver,spleen and dorsal fat were lower than 6μg/kg which is far less than the tolerable daily intakes (TDI) in humans.Accordingly,the result facilitates accurate prediction of risk that it is not dangerous for human to consume DON infested pigs.
