Preparation and characterization of PLLA/pearl and PLLA/nacre scaffold

　　The pearl presents good bioactive characteristics and mechanical properties and has gained interest in bone repair recently.This work develops three-dimensional (3D) scaffolds composed of PLLA/aragonite pearl powder,PLLA/vaterite pearl powder and PLLA/ nacre powder by freeze-drying method.The characterizations of the composite scaffold are discussed.
