Purpose: Study the feasibility of treatment of cervical cancer using IMRT compensation base on after-loading(Bracy+IMRT), and comparison with the traditional 2D after-loading (CHDR), 3D optimized loading(OHDR) and IMRT techniques for dosimetric comparison ,explore the Bracy+IMRT technology in the clinical application and advantages.Methods and Materials: During 2011-2012,30 cases of cervical cancer completion pelvic external beam RT 46gy/23f in our hospital.IMRT compensation base on after-loading is applied, Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans were acquired with a CT/MRI-compatible applicator in place, the GTV, HR-CTV, IR-CTV, bladder, rectum, sigmoid are defined as GEC-ESTRO recommendations , prescriptions for HRCTV 6GY / F, IRCTV 5GY / F, and 4 fraction.Completion Bracy+IMRT plan.At the same time, doing the traditional after-loading (A point) plan , optimized after-loading plan and IMRT plan (applicator in place) for each patient using CT and MRI image data.Compare the D100, D90, V100 of GTV, HRCTV, IRCTV and organ at risks 0.1cc, lcc, 2cc dose for different plan.Results : IMRT compensation base on after-loading technology (Bracy+IMRT) can effectively guarantee target dose coverage, while significantly reducing the organs at risks 0.1cc, lcc, 2cc dose,which is better than the other three techniques.Conclusion : IMRT compensation base on after-loading technology can adaptive both different volumes tumor and different volumes of normal organs, ensuring the dose of killing the tumor, and protect normal organs, it has important clinical significance.
