At present,there are four main power source industries in China,such as solar cell industry,lithium-ion battery industry,lead-acid battery industry,and alkaline battery (Zn-Mn battery) industry.In 2007,the sales revenue of worldwide batteries reached $60 billion,and production value of Chinas batteries was near $20 billion.In this paper,the industrial technology and production state of solar cell,lithium-ion battery,lead-acid battery and alkaline Zn-Mn battery industries in China were analyzed according to some statistical data from China Industrial Association of Power Sources during 2006-2008.Furthermore,the status and role of Chinese four power source industries in the world power source industry were discussed.The problems and improve direction of various types of power sources in China were suggested.These provided the latest technology and production information for the power source researchers and manufacturers.In addition,the trend of the energy-storing batteries and power batteries in China were discussed in detail.
