Purpose:Electroacupuncture(EA) therapy is an effective treatment of myopia in clinical practice;however,its mechanism is still unclear.Here,we explored the effects of EA stimulation on the content of retinal gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA) and the expression of its receptor subtypes in a guinea pig model with lens-induced myopia(LIM).
