First-principles Study of the Martensitic Phase Transformation of TiRh Alloy

The Ti50Rh50 compound was found to have two-stage transformations:The high temperature transformation from the cubic structure into tetragonal distorted B2 was confirmed and the transition temperature was determined at 845±20℃1.This transition appeared to occur continuously.
