J.Fábrega and M.A.Fiol introduced the extra connectivity of interconnection networks, which is regarded as a generalization of the classical connectivity and provides a more accurate tool for the fault tolerance of interconnection networks.The k-ary n-cube Qkn, proposed by Scott and Goodman, many interconnection networks can be viewed as subclasses of Qkn, including the cycle, the torus and the hypercube.In this talk, I will talk about fault tolerance analysis of k-ary n-cubes in terms of the extra connectivity.
