Position detecting system is the key unit of Control Moment Gyro(CMG).Its reliability is very important for CMG.The paper introduces a position detecting method based on two channel resolvers.Fault diagnosis and fault tolerance technology for position detecting system is proposed.Fault diagnose strategy is designed by utilizing Dependency matrix (D-matrix),whereas the fault-tolerant strategy is developed based on re-builder algorithm.Experiment results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective to promote reliability of the position detecting system.
