Kinetic equations and related models play an important role in many science and engineering branches.Examples include: gas/plasma dynamics,radiative transfer,semiconductor modeling,complex systems in biological or social sciences,etc.Designing numerical methods in these applications present similar challenges,ranging from multiscale modeling,nonlinear analysis,to large computational expense requiring high performance computing.
