　　A nano-rectenna consisting of a receiving optical nanoantenna and a metal-insulator-metal(MIM)diode can effectively collect optical energy in the visible and infrared frequency ranges due to surface plasmon resonance,and then convert AC oscillation to DC power because of rectifying characteristics.It has broad applications in high efficiency solar cells,infrared detectors,biochemical sensors and cooling electronic devices.In this work,we have designed a sector bowtie nanoantenna integrated with a rectifier for collecting infrared energy.
