In order to combine the advantages of high thermal efficiency of diesel engine and high power density of gas turbine,a new type of Diesel-Brayton Combined Cycle Engine scheme was put forward.The outlet pressure calculation of the 90 degree T-junction in the air intake system of the engine was studied.Based on the calculation results of the pressure loss coefficient of the T-junction flow field,the corresponding mathematical modeling was carried out in MATLAB to compare the advantages and disadvantages of various mathematical models and the D.E.Winterbone model was selected as the basis for subsequent optimization.Aiming at the bad working conditions such as surge and flameout in the process of switching into or quitting the diesel-turbine combined mode,it was found that the intake pressure of the diesel engine fluctuates abnormally during the state-switching process.The working rules of the solenoid valves were optimized by adjusting the curves opening curves of the solenoid valves with time,so that the total intake mass flow in the air intake system was able to keep relatively stable during the state-switching process,ensuring that the intake pressure of the diesel engine could change smoothly.
