Objective Efficiency as a network measure was first introduced to express the capacity of networks to facilitate information exchange.The efficiency with which two nodes communicate was defined to be inversely proportional to the shortest distance between these nodes.The global efficiency of the network is the average of the efficiency over all pairs and the global efficiency is related to the path length.Here,DTI tractography and graph theoretical approaches were used to compare the differences of the global efficiency of the nodes in the brain structural networks of the schizophrenia and the healthy.
