　　Over the past few decades.an increasing number of probes have been sent to the small bodies of our solar system.For example.the European Space Agency launched Giotto and Rosetta to comets Halley and 67P /Churyumov-Gerasimenko.respectively, and is continuing their interest with the recently announced Don Quixote mission.The Japanese sent a probe to Halley as well.and are flying the Hayabusa mission (also called Muses-C) that plans to bring a sample of asteroid ltokawa back to Earth in 2010.NASA has had the most number of missions.
