@@ Radix Angelicae Pubescentis (‘Duhuo’) (Figure 1),was originally recorded and listed as top gradein Shen Nong’s Herbal Classic(Chinese Herbals Editor Board,1999)As one of the most commonly usedChinese herbs, ‘Duhuo’was used as analgesic and antirheumatic agent for bi-syndrome ofwind-cold-dampness type with pain( rheumatic disease) in traditional Chinese medicine(StatePharmacopoeia Committee,2000;Wei F, et al, 1999;Teekachunhatean S, et al, 2004, ).
