Three different types of wood flour particles, (Xylia Kerri Craib & Hutch, Hevea Brasiliensis Linn and Mangifera Indica Linn), were used and incorporated into poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) to form wood/PVC composites. The mechanical properties and wear behavior of wood/PVC composites was evaluated with and without glass fiber reinforcement, and before and after UV ageing. The experimental results were reported in terms of percentage weight loss as a function of wood content (0-60 parts per hundred ratio, phr) and sliding distance (0-2 km).

The notch size effect in the off-axis compressive strength of a unidirectional CFRP laminate at high temperature (100℃) is studied. An engineering method that allows predicting the off-axis notched str
In this paper, optical fibre sensors are embedded in a natural fibre composite to provide temperature and strain monitoring. The composite specimens were made from kenaf fibre and a low viscosity epoxy
Styenene-ethylene-butylene-sytrene block copolymer (SEBS) is one of the most widely used thermoplastic elastomer, which exhibits balanced elasticity and processibility, recyclability, etc. Thus, it is
