Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a poorly water-soluble active ingredient with intrinsicchemical instability, but holds strongly antioxidative capacity. The CoQ10-NLC aqueous dispersionhas been prepared, the antioxidative activity between CoQ10-NLC and CoQ10 cosmetic have beeninvestigated, and several employed methods such as scavenging effect on DPPH(2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) radical and inhibition of superoxide anion and hydroxyl radicalgeneration illustrated their potent antioxidative activity. The test results displyed that CoQ10-NLCaqueous dispersion formulation indicated higher antioxidative activity than commercially availableCoQ10 cosmetic.
