Generation of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells in vitro,especially generation of safe therapeutic hematopoietic stem cells,still remain inefficient because lack of effective and safe technology.Zebrafish has proved to be a facile system for chemical genetics,and has been used to identify a variety of pathways regulating organogenesis including hematopoiesis.In this study,we applied a novel chemical screening approach for pro-hematopoiesis molecules,using undifferentiated primary culture cells from c-myb-GFP transgenic or mpx-GFP transgenic embryos respectively.
