  质谱成像广泛应用于材料,生物,药学等领域的研究.目前广泛使用的质谱成像方法为SIMS(二次离子质谱)和MALDI(基质辅助激光解吸电离飞行时间质谱).SIMS的空间分辨率可达亚微米,但仅能获得小质量的样品碎片成像信息(m/z<500);MALDI可以得到大质量(高达105Da)母体离子,但由于基质效应,该方法的空间分辨率仅能达到微米级别,难于用于研究微小尺寸样品(如单细胞).
