There has been significant interest in the development ordered mesoporous carbons(OMC),owing to their considerable properties,such as uniform and tailored pore structure,high specific surface areas,large pore volume and chemical inertness. Ordered mesoporous carbons have potential applications such asmolecular separation,adsorption,catalysis,sensors,energy storage and capacitors. Despite such potentialcapability of ordered mesoporous carbons,there have been only few studies on the electroanalyticalapplications for the electrocatalytic oxidation of biomolecules. in this report,the electrochemicalproperties of the ordered mesoporous carbon and its electroanalytical application for selectivedeterminations of dopamine or uric acid in the presence of ascorbic acid at OMC modified electrodes wereinvestigated.
