  A conjecture about the mean field equation △u+eu = 8nπδ0 on a at torus Eτ is the non-existence of solutions if τ∈iR+.For any n∈2 N≥2,this conjecture seems very challenging from the viewpoint of PDE theory.In order to solve this conjecture,a premodular form Z(n)r,s( τ)was introduced by Wang and Lin,and is used to give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions.In this talk,we will talk about the conjecture for n = 2(i.e.at critical parameter 16τ).
