Doubled haploid (DH) technology can greatly accelerate plant breeding process,and is widely used in modern breeding.Haploids can be obtained by in vitro or in vivo approaches.Anther and microspore culture are the most commonly used in vitro approaches;however,many species and genotypes are recalcitrant to these processes.
