On account of its high biocompatibility,good bioactivity and similar mineral component to human nature bone,hydroxyapatite is widely used as a scaffold or tissue replacement material in tissue engineering.Some of these important properties of hydroxyapatite are related to its porous structures that provide channels and space appropriate for the adhesion of bone cells and the material replacement by regenerated bone tissue.This work aims to investigate the microstructure and elastic properties of hydroxyapatites with various nano-pores.Three types of pore structures were built.
