  Targeting tumors with long-circulating polymeric micelles is a promising strategy in systemic cancer treatment.This carrier accumulates in solid tumors through the enhanced permeability and retention effect.However,its ability to penetrate within the tumor mass remains unclear,limiting the effectiveness of micellar cancer therapy[1].Hence,it is highly desirable to evaluate the intratumoral distribution profiles of the nanocarrier.This study intended to use multispectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT),a real-time and non-invasive optical imaging modality with high penetration depth and spatial resolution[2],for monitoring the distribution ofmicelles in tumor.
