The Hanbury Brown and Twiss(HBT) effect,based on the concept of second-order correlation interference,opened up a new revolution in both classical and quantum optics.One important field that was born,intensity correlation imaging,commonly known as "ghost imaging",has now developed from its beginnings in nonlocal quantum entangled states into a range of promising new forms of classical imaging.
