Neurotransmitters are endogenous molecules transmitting an electrical impulse from a nerve cell to another nerve or other tissues to play important roles as messengers of neurologic information.Since the acetylcholine has been reported, up to now, about 100 neurotransmitters have been known.Dopamine (DA) is one of the most significant neurotransmitters because of its roles in a brain regulation and modulation. The normal concentration of dopamine in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is in the range of 0.5-25 riM, meanwhile, in the electrochemical detection, ascorbic acid and DA are oxidized at nearly the same potential, which can result in overlapping voltammetric responses. It is worth noting that vibration spectroscopy could distinguish similar substances such as benzenes and substituted benzenes.
