Functional magnetic nanoparticles have been widely used in industrial and biomedical applications.Functional magnetic nanoparticles in a thin channel could potentially be a simpler and faster detection technique for biochemical analysis.This presentation would show biochemical analysis using functional magnetic nanoparticles in separation thin channels.In this method, magnetic nanoparticles labeled with antibody were flowed through a separation channel to form depositions on the bottom plate under magnetic fields for selective reactions with antigen.Determinations of biomarkers would be used as examples to demonstrate this detection method.The selectivity is higher than 92% and the running time is less than 15 min.In comparison with other methods, this method has lower detection limit and wider linear range.This technique has great potentials to provide a simple, fast, and selective analysis for particles and biochemical applications.
