Glycosylation is one of the most common and complicated form of post-translational modifications (PTMs) in eukaryotic proteins.Oligosaccharides,which are structurally diverse,participate in key biological progresses including protein folding,cell-cell recognition,signaling and cancer metastasis in living systems.Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) is an indispensable method in oligosaccharide analysis.However,analysis of oligosaccharides MALDI-TOF MS is often limited by low ionization efficiency and inadequate fragmentation information.
