The specific differences between tumor and normal tissues have been used for the design and preparation of targeted and controlled intracellular drug release systems.Based on these designs, satisfying therapeutic goals can be more readily achieved as compared with non-responsive vehicles.Reactive oxygen species (ROS),including hydroxyl radical, singlet oxygen and H2O2 etc.,are produced to a higher extent in human tumor cells than in normal cells due to alternation of ROS metabolism-related signal pathway [1].
