  A new type of polymer carbon dots(PCDs)with quantum yield about 44.15%has been synthesized via a one-pot hydrothermal method using PAA(polyacrylic acid)and EDA(ethylenediamine)as starting materials.The detailed properties of the obtained PCDs were reported.Besides,the probable fluorescent center of PCDs was inferred by some designed experiments.In addition the PCDs PL spectras of temperature dependence,different kinds of chemical environment and good/poor solvents were studied.
