Neuroinflammation is considered to be associated with the progression of various neurodegenerative disorders, characterized by microglia activation and neuronal injury.It is known that treatment of lipopolysaccharide (LPS), commonly used to induce neuroinflammation, can result in cognitive deficits as well as microglia activation and neuronal injury.
