一、前言江苏省的冶金工业,作为全省工业战线的一个重要支柱,它正处在上升时期,是朝阳工业。冶金工业炉,是整个冶金工业中重要的一环。在某种意义上讲,冶金工业炉的水平是整个冶金工业水平的缩影。从战略眼光看,抓住了冶金工业炉,就是抓住了冶金工业中极为敏感,极为积极和富有生命力的因素。江苏省的冶金工业炉是从1958年“大办钢铁”时发展起来的,三十年来大致经历了三个历史阶级:第一个十年是大火急烧,浓烟滚滚,表面上热气腾腾,实际上能源消耗高,加热质量差,基本上处于原始的野蛮操
