Soil contamination and vegetation condition complex assessment within the Vladimir city area applying surface methods, statistic data analysis, mathematic modeling and remote sensing methods has been carded out.Common pollutants kinds and recreational areas types analysis within the town area has been executed. The methodology and algorithm of ecologic constituent calculation for urban areas cadastre evaluation, applying object-oriented programming languages and geo-informational technologies has been developed. The methodology supposes contamination coefficients and area recreational value calculation. The contamination coefficient calculation is based on each contamination type assessment, allowing for urban infrastructure; and recreational value coefficient is based on the recreation areas type within the town.Judging by the calculation results, district division maps according to the ecologic constituent for land cadastre evaluation have been compiled.Remote sensing methods have been applied to assess urban vegetation and soil condition,to reveal the contamination sources and foci. For space images digital processing Erdas Imagine software has been used.Mapping data analysis has been executed on the basis of Arc View software.Object classification has been accomplished by ISODATA method (cluster analysis) unsupervised classification. This analysis resulted in cluster diagram and statistics table presenting average clusters values used for objects spectral curves obtaining.Afterwards the distinguished clusters have been identified and unified in bigger groups-classes,depending on contamination condition and rate by spectral curves analysis, and besides by spectral brightness (SB) transformation analysis applying linear and fractional combinations (vegetation indices).Space images data comparison with the total urban area contamination map and the results of ecologic tension district division revealed their equivalence.
