The type-2C protein phosphatases(PP2Cs),negatively regulating ABA responses,play important roles in stresses signal transduction in plants.Brachypodium distachyon is a new model plant for exploring the functional genomics of temperate grasses,cereal and biofuel crops.However,a genome-wide analysis of the PP2C gene family in B.distachyon has not been reported so far.
