最优化决策风格是指个体在决策中精益求精、力求找到最佳选择、获得最优结果的决策方法，与之相对，满意型决策风格是指个体遵循“足够好”、满意即止的原则进行决策。现有研究探讨了最优化决策风格带来的心理和行为后果，行为后果如“最高标准”、“穷尽搜索”和“决策困难”，心理后果如更低的决策满意度和更高的决策后悔。然而这些研究忽略了最优化决策风格的成因，本研究旨在探究人们为何以及何时采用最优化的决策风格。
