　　We prove sharp H(o)lder estimates for sequences of positive solutions of a nonlinear elliptic problem with negative exponent.As a consequence,we prove the existence of solutions with isolated ruptures in a bounded convex domain in two dimensions.This is joint work with Kelei Wang(Wuhan University)and Juncheng Wei(University of British Columbia).
