　　A tree-ring chronology(1804-2013)was developed from the Pinus massoniana trees at Gu Mountain of Fujian Province,in southeastern China,which exhibits the nearest chronology to that of the coastal area of the East China Sea.The highest correlations with monthly climate variables were observed with precipitation in July and September,and the highest correlation with seasonal climate variables were found with precipitation from June to September.
