利用X-射线单晶衍射法确定了2-氨基吡啶的分子和晶体结构，得到其分子间氢键的结合方式和晶体中的键合方式。利用精密自动绝热量热计测定了它在78～370K温区的低温热容。在热容曲线上发现在315～335K温度范围有一个明显的固-液相变过程。
