BaoVision-WSIS(Wire Surface Inspection System)-Online Surface inspection system(SIS)for high-speed hot wire which is developed by Baosteel is applied in wire factory.High illumination LED lighting and high speed imaging camera are used in this system for capturing the cylindrical surface images of high-speed hot wire.For difference diameter of wire,the system can realize auto-focus by adjusting the camera position and get sharply focus images.Surface images are transferred through the 10-Gigabit network and processed by the dedicated application computers.As from October 2014,BaoVision-WSIS has been used for surface defect detection in Baosteel and played an important role for promoting the quality of wire in the factory.
