A highly selective molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction coupled with liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection was developed for the determination of salbutamol in ham sausages.New molecularly imprinted polymers were synthesized by phenylephrine as dummy template with bulk polymerization and revealed good affinity to salbutamol in methanol-acetonitrile system.Adsorption capacity of the MIPs was evaluated by dynamic adsorption experiments and the extraction efficiency was compared with other conventional sorbents. The results showed that the developed MISPE-HPLC method provided excellent selectivity and purification effect.
