Particular today change of soil use can result in strong impacts on physical properties of soils.This happens when sites of vegetable farms become residential areas.During construction of residential areas oils are excavated and refilled,By soils are established which are from mixed and layered soil material.Soils are compacted by the use of heavy machinery for soil transport and soil levelling.Therefore physical soil impacts occur from lack of biological soil porosity by large pores due to the soil disturbance by transport of soils and frm soil compactin by heavy machinery.The poster will show the effects of soil disturbance and compaction of the example of a vegetable farm area an a residential area next to it.At each site one profile was very detailed sampled and investigated.Parameters investigated to show the effects were bulk density,water and air permeability..There was a clear increase of bulk density and decrease of water and air permeability by change of soil use from farm to residential ground use.
